Policies

Studio Viva! offers classes in Salsa, Merengue, Cha-cha, Bachata, Swing, Lindy Hop, Blues, Dips 'n Tricks, Turns and Spins Technique, Ballet and Jazz Movement. Different classes are offered at various locations. To see classes in the area close to you, check the Dance page.

Class Duration: Classes are one hour, unless otherwise indicated.

Class Size: Classes sizes depend on the size of the studio or ballroom we are teaching in. All classes are subject to cancellation if the minimum enrollment of 8 people is not met.

No Partner? No Worries! You do not need a partner for our classes — we rotate partners during class. In addition to dancing with a friend or mate, you'll meet the other students and improve your lead and follow skills.

Costs: Unless otherwise noted, group classes are $50 for a four-week session per class, with pre-registration. When you enroll in two or more classes during one session, you'll receive further discounts. (Please see Dance page for details.)

What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing and soft soled shoes. Ladies may wear high heels —leather sole shoes work best. If necessary, we will help you get dance shoes made for the type of dance you are learning.

To register via credit card , please just click on the Add to Cart. In order to keep costs to a minimum for our students, we use the PayPal system for credit card processing. Once you fill your cart, you will be taken to the secured PayPal processing site. If you do not already have a PayPal account, you will be asked to create one - it only takes a minute or so. Once the transaction is completed, you will be returned to our site.

Schedule is subject to change: Classes are subject to cancellation due to low registration. Each student will be notified via email or phone call if that happens. To help avoid that situation, please register before the early registration deadline or at least drop us an email to let us know that you plan on attending a class.
